Konkuk University (President Won Jong-phil) is accelerating its efforts to expand its global cooperation network. Since President Won Jong-phil's inauguration last year, Konkuk University has set its slogan as 'Konkuk, A Green Wave Leading the World' and is actively pursuing global cooperation.

Last month, Konkuk University invited more than 20 key leaders from Michigan State University (MSU), including its president, vice president, and deans, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This established a comprehensive cooperation system encompassing global joint research, talent exchange, and educational collaboration. MSU is recognized as one of the largest universities in the United States, boasting 17 colleges. In particular, MSU is a prestigious research-intensive public Ivy League university, maintaining top rankings in various fields such as nuclear science, agriculture, biotechnology, and veterinary medicine.

Following this, President Won Jong-phil, accompanied by key Konkuk University officials, visited major universities in Taipei, Taiwan, from June 4th to 7th to sign academic exchange agreements (MOUs). Konkuk University explained that they exchanged concrete cooperation plans with each visiting university, including educational and research exchanges, faculty and student dispatch, and the hosting of international conferences.
