Chungcheongnam-do participated in 'Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Chubu Hokuriku,' held for four days from the 25th to the 28th at Aichi Sky Expo (Aichi International Exhibition Center) in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, actively introducing its excellent tourism resources to the local area.

Co-hosted by the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), the Japan Travel and Tourism Association (JTTA), and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), this event is the largest tourism exhibition in Japan. The province participated to promote Chungcheongnam-do tourism and attract Japanese tourists to the region, coinciding with the 'Visit Chungcheongnam-do Year 2025-2026.'

On the 25th and 26th, the province participated in face-to-face sales calls with local tourism industries and MICE seminars, strengthening its network with Japanese travel industry officials and exploring cooperation measures for product development. In particular, the province actively introduced major upcoming events, such as the Taean Horticulture Healing Expo to be held next year, and accelerated the formation of linked tour courses.

Furthermore, on the 27th and 28th, a promotional booth was set up for visitors, featuring: a Chungcheongnam-do Tourism Stage Presentation, screening of Chungcheongnam-do tourism promotional videos, distribution of promotional booklets and leaflets, a Social Media Follow Stamp Rally event, and the provision of Chungcheongnam-do tourism souvenirs, successfully attracting the interest of local tourists.

A provincial official stated, "We were able to effectively promote Chungcheongnam-do's historical and cultural tourism resources, festivals, and unique experience programs at Japan's largest tourism exhibition, which attracts about 100,000 visitors," adding, "We will further strengthen our efforts to target the Japanese market so that Chungcheongnam-do is recognized as a key destination for travel to Korea."
