LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Demonstrations against the Trump administration have once again taken place on the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol. The "Hands Off!" protests, which were originally scheduled to occur nationwide last Saturday, were postponed due to severe weather and were held this Saturday instead.
Protesters voiced their concerns regarding widespread federal budget cuts, LGBTQ rights, and what they described as "general government overreach."
One participant strongly criticized, "Anyone asking to be the President of the United States should be protecting and defending this nation, not systematically and intentionally destroying it."
The demonstrators urged lawmakers to prioritize the interests of the people over those of the president.
