In the under-25 Latin dance adult category at the 'British Open Dance Festival' held on the 22nd in Bourne Moss, a coastal city in southern England, 96 couples participated, including Korean national Sophia Park (19 years old) and her partner Firsov Artom (23 years old from Russia). took second place in the middle.

Poland took 1st place, Russia took 3rd place, Italy took 4th place, and China took 5th and 6th place.

Sophia Park, who won the Blackpool competition, also known as the Dance Olympics, in 2016, plans to compete again in Blackpool in April.

Currently, Sophia Park is studying in Moscow under Russian Ruslan Aidaev, who produced multiple world champions.

Sophia Park is active as a dance sports star in Russia and is raising Korean pride. Despite his young age, he stands out on the global stage and is attracting the attention of many people due to his outstanding skills and continuous efforts.

Sophia Park has shown extraordinary talent in dance sports since childhood. In particular, he surprised those around him with his outstanding skills in both Latin and standard dancing. He made his name known on the global stage early on by taking first place at the 2016 Blackpool Dance Sports Competition in England.

Sophia Park achieved success not simply through natural talent. He has improved his skills through rigorous training and constant effort. In particular, he entered the dance department of the Russian Sports University at the top of his class and received a full scholarship for four years, receiving systematic education.

Sophia Park is working to promote dance sports exchange between Russia and Korea. As a Korean, I am active as a dance sports athlete in Russia and am contributing to cultural exchange between the two countries. In addition, it serves as a role model for young Korean dance sports players and contributes to expanding the base of dance sports.
