Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Organization Successfully Holds the '2026 Gyeongbuk Dalbit Trot Concert'

The '2026 Gyeongbuk Dalbit Trot Concert' adorns an Autumn night in Andong with success Brought together with 1,500 audience members… An exciting stage embracing all generations


The Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Government and the Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Organization (President Kim Nam-il) successfully concluded the '2026 Gyeongbuk Dalbit Trot Concert' held at the Andong Culture and Tourism Complex on the 12th, drawing an audience of about 1,500 people.

Marking its 6th year, the 'Gyeongbuk Dalbit Trot Concert' has been presenting diverse performances to tourists and provincial residents visiting the Andong Culture and Tourism Complex. It received enthusiastic responses from the audience by delivering exciting trot stages against the backdrop of a cool autumn night.

On this day, rising trot star Go-yu and Andong native Kkot-bi intensely opened the stage. Sun-kyung, famed for the original song "Casanova," and Hai-ryang, with her charming husky voice, heightened the festival atmosphere. Towards the finale, popular trot singers Cheon Ga-yeon, So Yu-mi, and Kang Hye-yeon performed their representative hits and cheerful trot medleys. Through familiar trot music that transcends generations, it created a harmonious venue where diverse age groups, from family units to the middle-aged, could mingle together.

Meanwhile, a special broadcast is arranged for those who could not enjoy the performance on-site. On Saturday, September 19, starting at 2:05 PM, the performance of the Gyeongbuk Dalbit Trot Concert can be experienced once again through Andong MBC Radio 100.1 MHz and the Andong MBC app.

A tourist who watched the concert said, "It is a visual and auditory delight to meet popular trot singers at the Andong Culture and Tourism Complex waterfront park, where I walk every day," adding, "I hope there will be even more diverse events and performances within the complex in the future."

Kim Nam-il, President of the Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Organization, said, "I thank the many residents and tourists for enjoying the event together and beautifully filling the autumn night of Andong," and added, "We will continue to introduce various cultural performances and tourism contents to provide special experiences for tourists visiting Gyeongbuk and inject vitality into the region."
