
Chungnam Province has launched a concerted effort to target the European tourism market by showcasing its diverse tourism resources and major international events locally in Germany.
The province announced that on the 21st (local time), it participated in the "2026 Germany K-Tourism Business-to-Business (B2B) Roadshow" held at the Rogenhaus Hall in Frankfurt, Germany, where it promoted the charms of Chungnam tourism to local travel agencies and the media.
Hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization’s Frankfurt Office, the event brought together domestic and international travel industry professionals and local media figures to share information on Korean tourism and discuss strategies for developing tourism products.

During the event, the province conducted one-on-one consultations with local travel agencies, introducing key tourist destinations, local cuisine, and festivals in the province while focusing on boosting interest in Chungnam tourism.
In particular, the province highlighted major mega-events scheduled or related to the region next year, such as the Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo, the Island Biennale, the World Youth Day (Catholic), and the Chungcheong Summer World University Games, proposing the development of group tourism packages linked to these events.
Furthermore, through a tourism promotion presentation, the province showcased its major tourism resources and products. Officials also met with the Korea Tourism Organization’s Frankfurt Office to share trends in the German tourism market and discuss measures to promote and vitalize Chungnam tourism.

An official from the province stated, "Through this event, we were able to introduce Chungnam's tourism resources to the German travel industry and local media," adding, "Moving forward, we will continue to cooperate with overseas offices to actively promote the charms of Chungnam and strive to attract European tourists."
