Korean Food Foundation Releases New Issue of "A Good Day to Read Korean Food"

Seoul, South Korea – The Korean Food Foundation has released the winter 2024 edition of its online magazine, "A Good Day to Read Korean Food," focusing on the theme of "Korean Fine Dining."

Launched in 2017, "A Good Day to Read Korean Food" has been providing a comprehensive look into the world of Korean cuisine, covering topics such as history, culture, global trends, and the latest innovations. The magazine's latest issue delves into the evolution of Korean fine dining, from its royal roots to contemporary interpretations.

The winter edition features a variety of articles, including:

A deep dive into the history of Korean fine dining: The magazine traces the development of Korean fine dining from royal court cuisine to modern-day establishments.
An interview with Chef Kim Do-yoon and Chef Song Hong-yun: The renowned chefs behind the fine dining restaurant "Yoon Seoul" share their insights into the world of Korean haute cuisine.
A showcase of unique plating techniques: The magazine features stunning examples of innovative plating from Korean fine dining restaurants.
An interview with Chef Jung Sik Yoon: The British Michelin-starred Korean chef discusses his journey and the future of Korean cuisine.
A report on the "Korean Food Conference 2024": The magazine provides a recap of the latest developments and trends in the Korean food industry.
"With the growing interest in gastronomy, Korean fine dining has been gaining significant attention," said Lee Kyu-min, president of the Korean Food Foundation. "Through this winter issue, we hope to shed light on the history, present, and future of Korean fine dining and showcase the limitless possibilities of Korean cuisine."
