Suwon, South Korea – December 27, 2024 – The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization (GTO) has been honored with the "2024 Outstanding Labor Director System" award by the Gyeonggi Public Institution Labor Director Council (GPLICDC). The council commended the GTO for successfully establishing a collaborative management structure and fostering a culture of mutual cooperation between labor and management through the labor director system.   

The labor director system, designed to incorporate the voices of workers into the management of public institutions, ensures transparency and fairness. This recognition underscores the GTO's commitment to innovative management practices.

Since the appointment of CEO Jo Won-yong, the organization has implemented various policies to enhance the effectiveness of the labor director system, significantly improving the transparency and efficiency of the board. Furthermore, the full support for Kim Jae-wook, the labor director who serves as the standing chairman of the National Public Institution Labor Director Council, has contributed to these positive outcomes.
