Public IR pitching event expands investment and global market entry opportunities for regional contents enterprises

Three outstanding companies selected, with the top-ranking company linked to direct investment and TIPS program recommendation

The Chungnam Contents Agency (Director Kim Yeon, hereinafter referred to as the Agency) announced that it successfully held the "2026 Chungnam Outstanding Contents Enterprise IR Pitching Event" on October 7 at the BEXCO venue in Busan during "FLY ASIA 2026."

"FLY ASIA," organized by the Busan Institute of Science and Technology Startup & Investment, is a global startup exposition bringing together domestic and international startups, investors, accelerators (ACs), and venture capitalists (VCs). To expand practical investment attraction and global market entry opportunities for regional contents enterprises, the Agency collaborated with the Busan Institute of Science and Technology Startup & Investment to plan the joint program "2026 Chungnam Outstanding Contents Enterprise IR Pitching."

A total of eight companies participated in the IR pitching event held on the FLY ASIA BLUE Stage to present before domestic and international investors: six outstanding contents enterprises selected through public recruitment and regional preliminary evaluations aimed at recommendation for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) program, along with "Damgara Co., Ltd." (CEO Jeong Hee-jeong) and "Metalogy Co., Ltd." (CEO Jang Seok-bong), which were recently selected for Pre-TIPS through the Agency’s "Scale-up Accelerating Program."

As a result of the final IR pitching evaluation, Hello Works claimed 1st place, UnitMe took 2nd place, and Pyossem Coding placed 3rd. The three selected companies were awarded the Chungnam Contents Agency Director Award along with a total of 10 million KRW in prize money.

"Hello Works" (CEO Gu Yong-nam), selected as the top enterprise, received high praise for its high-efficiency production technology and effective IP establishment strategy based on an AI-powered K-short-form drama production solution. "UnitMe" (CEO Kim Seong-yun), placed 2nd, was recognized for the high sustainability and marketability of its AI-based customized challenge contents solution. Meanwhile, "Pyossem Coding" (CEO Pyo Jeong-wan), placed 3rd, secured its spot as an outstanding enterprise based on the educational field suitability and differentiated competitiveness of its Korean history edutech contents combining generative AI and public data.

In particular, the top enterprise, Hello Works, will receive direct investment from CNT Tech—the operator of the "Scale-up Program"—along with an opportunity for recommendation to the TIPS program in the first half of 2027.

In addition, the Agency operated the "Chungnam Contents Agency Joint Pavilion" through October 8 to promote the Agency's support programs and regional promising contents enterprises, while supporting meetings with domestic and international investors. Seven regional contents enterprises participated in the joint pavilion to showcase their core technologies and contents, exploring collaboration possibilities with investors and industry officials visiting the site. Key achievements included a total of 25 meet-ups with major domestic corporations and investors, leading to discussions on open innovation cooperation, global commercialization, and project partnerships related to their proprietary technologies.

Director Kim Yeon stated, "This event was designed to diversify opportunities to showcase regional contents enterprises to domestic and international investors to the maximum extent by exceptionally presenting both an IR pitching event and an exhibition joint pavilion in one place in conjunction with an international startup exposition. Moving forward, we will strengthen a virtuous cycle ranging from investment and TIPS linkages to securing global market entry opportunities through systematic corporate support measures, thereby supporting the successful investment attraction of regional contents enterprises."
