Seoul, South Korea – BTS, the global sensation, has reached another significant milestone. Their hit single, "Dynamite," has surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify, the world's largest audio streaming platform. This achievement makes "Dynamite" the first K-pop song by a group to reach this remarkable feat.   

Released in 2020, "Dynamite" quickly became a global phenomenon, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earning a Grammy nomination. The upbeat disco-pop track, characterized by its catchy rhythm and energetic performance, resonated with fans worldwide and solidified BTS's position as one of the biggest music acts of the generation.   

Prior to this achievement, BTS member Jungkook's solo track "Seven" was the first K-pop solo song to hit 2 billion streams on Spotify in 2023.

"Dynamite" also made history as the first Korean song to debut at number one on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart. The music video has garnered over 1.9 billion views on YouTube, further cementing its status as a cultural touchstone.   

Big Hit Music, BTS's agency, announced the news on January 14th, expressing their gratitude to fans for their unwavering support. This latest achievement underscores BTS's enduring popularity and their significant contributions to the global music industry.
