SEOUL, South Korea – LG Chem is strengthening its market position in Thailand’s aesthetic market. The company announced on January 10th the official launch of its new skin booster, Vitaran (HP VITARAN, export name HP Cell VITARAN i), in the Thai market.
Building on the success of its beauty filler, YVOIRE, which was first introduced in Thailand in 2021, LG Chem is expanding its aesthetic product line. By maximizing the synergy between the two products, the company aims to more aggressively target the Thai market, a leading high-growth country in the medical beauty sector.
Vitaran, a medical device skin booster acquired from biomedical research and manufacturing company BR Pharm last year, is characterized by its injectable form and high-quality raw materials. Unlike skin boosters approved as cosmetics, medical device skin boosters can be directly injected into the skin, enabling immediate skin improvement. Additionally, BR Pharm's salmon farming facility, the primary raw material production base, has obtained a certification for suitable facilities (no detection of radioactive or heavy metal substances) from the Jeollanam-do Marine and Fisheries Research Institute, ensuring the reliability of raw material quality management.
