SEOUL, South Korea – GLEC Co., Ltd., a Korean logistics technology company, is accelerating its entry into the global market after winning a prestigious CES 2026 Innovation Award for its cutting-edge AI-based logistics technology. This recognition validates GLEC's technological prowess on the world stage, with the company now focusing on securing investments and strategic partnerships in North America and Europe.

AI Tachograph Recognized in Supply & Logistics

GLEC's proprietary 'GLEC AI Tachograph (DTG),' a digital tachograph, was selected as an Honoree in the Supply & Logistics category of the CES Innovation Awards® 2026. The award, presented by the U.S. Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is a critical benchmark for global companies to prove the market potential of their new technologies.

The AI Tachograph directly addresses the dual global trends of digital transformation and stricter environmental regulations within the logistics sector. The smart logistics market is projected to exceed hundreds of billions of dollars by 2030, driven by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 10%. Crucially, the demand for accurate carbon measurement solutions is spiking due to regulations like the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and mandatory corporate carbon disclosure in the U.S.

Reducing Risk and Measuring Carbon Emissions

GLEC’s award-winning solution is tailored for this evolving market. It incorporates a Large Language Model (LLM) with 20 billion parameters to analyze driving conditions in real-time, effectively reducing accident risks by 20% to 40%.

Furthermore, the technology meticulously measures truck carbon emissions using the international standard ISO-14083 methodology. GLEC has also developed an API (Application Programming Interface) that automates the reporting of this measured data to government agencies worldwide, offering a seamless compliance solution.

Global Expansion and Investment Drive

Kim Eun-woo, the CEO of Operations, stated, "The CES Innovation Award confirms our technology's global competitiveness. We will use this momentum to pursue strategic partnerships with global logistics companies and vehicle manufacturers in North America and Europe, and actively seek Pre-A investment."

GLEC is a specialized logistics technology firm that develops AI-based digital tachographs, an API-based carbon calculation platform, and a cloud-based logistics carbon accounting management system. The company is committed to the ISO-14083 carbon measurement methodology and is the first in Korea to participate in the certification program of the Smart Freight Centre (SFC), an international organization for logistics decarbonization.

GLEC plans to exhibit the awarded product and discuss cooperation with global corporations and investors at CES 2026, which will take place in Las Vegas, U.S., from January 6 to 9 next year.
