Cheonan City announced on the 1st that it has additionally designated two dementia-friendly organizations and dementia relief stores.

The Seobuk-gu Dementia Relief Center designates and operates corporations, schools, organizations, and individual businesses as dementia-friendly organizations and dementia relief stores to build a dementia safety net.

Samyuk Foods has been newly designated as a dementia-friendly organization, and Hae Malkeun Oriental Medicine Clinic as a dementia relief store. They will participate in various activities such as dementia overcoming and prevention, and dementia awareness improvement together with the Dementia Relief Center.

With this designation, the number of dementia-friendly organizations in Seobuk-gu has increased to 12, and dementia relief stores to 15.

The city plans to further strengthen the local community's dementia safety net through various support measures in the future. Organizations wishing to participate can contact the Dementia Relief Center (Seobuk-gu 041-521-5928, Dongnam-gu 041-521-3344).

Lee Hyun-ki, Head of the Seobuk-gu Public Health Center, said, "We aim to build a dementia safety net through the active participation of citizens," and added, "We hope for the participation of many people who want to share a warm heart for dementia patients and their families."
