Discover Your Own Travel Course Through Memorable Scenes and Quotes from Over 40 Works, Including Guardian: The Lonely and Great God and The Tyrant's Chef
The Korea Tourism Organization (President Park Sung-hyuk, hereinafter referred to as the KTO) announced that it is hosting the "K-Drama Experience Exhibition" in collaboration with Studio Dragon through November 19.
Held at HiKR GROUND in Seoul, the exhibition is organized under the theme "Scenes to Destinations." It is designed with various interactive contents so that domestic and international K-Drama fans can experience drama content in a fresh new way and connect it to actual travel in Korea.
Visitors to the exhibition can explore iconic quotes, memorable scenes, original soundtracks (OST), filming props, and shooting locations from over 40 popular works by Studio Dragon, including ▲ Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, ▲ Mr. Sunshine, ▲ Hotel Del Luna, ▲ Crash Landing on You, ▲ True Beauty, ▲ Vincenzo, ▲ Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, ▲ Yumi's Cells, ▲ Our Blues, ▲ Queen of Tears, and ▲ The Tyrant's Chef.
Interactive programs allowing direct participation by visitors have also been prepared. Attendees can complete their own personalized scripts by directly typing out drama lines, and enjoy the exhibition by collecting keyword-based quotes and scene postcards, record-shaped pieces, and prop stickers.
When visitors scan the items collected throughout the exhibition at a kiosk, their preferences are analyzed to recommend a customized regional travel course, along with a ticket containing related travel information. To ensure that the exhibition experience leads to actual travel, the KTO is also launching a "K-Drama Filming Location Travel Special Exhibition" in conjunction with global online travel agencies. This setup allows visitors to purchase related travel products on-site based on their recommended travel courses and visit the actual filming locations where the memorable drama scenes were brought to life.
Baek Man-sung, Head of the Hallyu Content Team, stated, "This experiential exhibition focuses on connecting the consumption of K-Dramas beyond mere screens to actual travel destinations imbued with the emotional resonance of the dramas. Through the exhibition-linked travel special exhibition, we plan to actively support translating interest in K-Dramas into actual visits to regional cities."
