Hamilton, New Zealand – The Waikato Korean Association hosted a successful "Anabada" flea market and Korean market on November 2nd at the Hamilton Link. The event, supported by the Korean Overseas Community Affairs Foundation and the Auckland Consulate, attracted over 250 attendees, including both Koreans and locals.

The event was more than just a flea market. It offered a platform for promoting Korean culture, particularly K-food, while also encouraging the community to practice the "Anabada" spirit, which emphasizes reuse, reduce, recycle.

In addition to the market, the event also provided consular services, benefiting not only Waikato residents but also those from Tauranga and New Plymouth. A total of 119 consular cases were successfully processed, making it a convenient service for local Koreans.

"This event was a great opportunity to foster unity within the Korean community and strengthen our ties with the local community," said Jeong Mi Go, president of the Waikato Korean Association. "We will continue to organize various events to enhance the quality of life for our Korean residents."
