Daejeon, South Korea – Daejeon Seo-gu district has announced a new job shadowing program designed to provide young adults with valuable experience in public administration. The program aims to enhance the job prospects of unemployed youth by offering firsthand exposure to the inner workings of local government.
Ten participants will be selected for the program, which will run from January 6 to February 7 of the following year. Successful applicants will be placed in various departments within the Seo-gu district government, including administrative offices and community centers, where they will assist with a range of tasks such as administrative duties and field work.
To be eligible, applicants must be between the ages of 19 and 39 and be unemployed residents of Seo-gu district. Participants will be selected based on their preference for specific departments, as well as their residential location and academic background.
