The syndrome continues... Yoon Yeo-jeong joins Netflix's 'Angry People 2'

[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES]  Actress Yoon Yeo-jeong appears in Season 2 of Netflix’s ‘Angry People’ (English title ‘Beef’).

According to American media such as Deadline on the 23rd (local time), Yoon Yeo-jung was listed as a cast member along with Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny in Season 2 of 'Angry People', which Netflix announced its production confirmation on the same day. .

The 10-part series 'Angry People', which was released in April last year and received great love around the world, stimulates the dark anger inside as a reckless driving incident occurs between two people, a contractor whose work is not going well and a businessman who is not satisfied with his life. It deals with a story that sparks conflict.

The novel story, sophisticated yet realistic directing, and outstanding performances by lead actors Steven Yeun and Ellie Wong were combined to achieve recognition for both popularity and workability. As a result, it received as many as eight awards, including Best Picture, at the Emmy Awards. In addition, he also received awards at the Critics' Choice Awards, Golden Globes, and Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG).

Season 2 is set at an elitist country club run by a Korean billionaire and will deal with what happens to a young couple who accidentally witnesses a shocking fight between their boss and his wife. Yoon Yeo-jeong appears as a Korean billionaire.

Previously, Yoon Yeo-jeong won the Best Supporting Actress Award for the American film ‘Minari’ (2021), making history as the first Korean actor to win an Academy Award. Afterwards, he continued his global career as the main character Seonja in Season 1 and Season 2 of Apple TV Plus’ ‘Pachinko’.

‘Angry People 2’ also features directors Lee Seong-jin, Steven Yeun, and Ally Wong, who were in charge of writing, producing, and directing Season 1.
