Cheonan City is actively promoting its local tourism resources by participating in the '2025 Korea Travel Fair'.

The Korea Travel Fair, the largest domestic travel exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Tourism Association Central Council, is being held at SETEC in Seoul for four days, from March 27th to 30th.

In line with the '2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year' and 'Visit Cheonan Year', Cheonan City has set up a booth to attract potential tourists by hosting various events. These include a lucky draw with prizes, engaging games, and a tasting event featuring Cheonan's famous walnut cookies (hodugwaja).

The prizes offered aim to encourage actual visits to Cheonan, including tourism souvenirs, hotel accommodation vouchers within the city, hodugwaja coupons, and Cheonan City Tour bus tickets.

A popular attraction at Cheonan's booth is a photo zone featuring the Taejosan Mountain Forest Leports facility's Ziptrek coaster. Visitors can try on harnesses and helmets, providing a fun and interactive experience.

The city is also heavily promoting its night-themed circular city tour bus, the 'Starlight Tour (Byeolbit Hanbaki)', as part of the 'Visit Cheonan Year' initiative. Starting on April 4th at 5:00 PM and running until 1:00 AM the following day, the 'Starlight Tour' bus will operate every 20 minutes, connecting key night tourism spots in Cheonan such as the Wonseongcheon Cherry Blossom Road, Taejosan Park, and Town Hall, as well as bustling areas like the terminal, city hall, and the university district of Anseo-dong.

Lee Gye-ja, Head of the Tourism Division, stated, "Cheonan has significant historical sites like the Independence Hall of Korea and the Yu Gwan-sun Martyr Memorial, but it also boasts active attractions such as the Taejosan Mountain Forest Leports. We have completed preparations for nighttime tourism, extended stays, and more, making Cheonan an appealing travel destination. We hope many visitors at the travel fair will discover Cheonan's charm."
