Facelifted luxury icons introduce advanced MB.OS architecture, refined powertrains, exclusive high-end editions, and aggressive trade-in loyalty programs ahead of Q3 official launch.

SEOUL, South Korea — Mercedes-Benz Korea officially initiated its domestic campaign for the pinnacle of automotive luxury today, announcing the commencement of pre-orders for its highly anticipated facelifted flagship models: "The New Mercedes-Benz S-Class" and "The New Mercedes-Maybach S-Class." The premium German automaker seeks to consolidate its commanding position in the ultra-luxury sedan segment within South Korea, which has consistently ranked as one of the most critical global markets for the brand's top-tier vehicles.

The newly redesigned S-Class lineup introduces an array of substantial updates tailored to discerning Korean consumers. According to Mercedes-Benz Korea, the luxury sedans feature heavily upgraded powertrains coupled with state-of-the-art driving assistance systems that together achieve the brand’s hallmark stable, composed, and effortless driving dynamics. A cornerstone of the technological overhaul is the integration of the proprietary Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). This advanced software architecture serves as the backbone for the vehicle's digital ecosystem, providing an exceptionally intuitive, highly personalized, and seamless user experience for both drivers and passengers alike.

Starting immediately, prospective buyers can secure their allocations across the nation. Mercedes-Benz has opened pre-orders through its extensive network of 65 official brick-and-mortar showrooms across the country. Simultaneously, recognizing the shifting paradigm toward digital commerce in the luxury sector, the automaker is accepting vehicle consultation and reservation requests via its centralized online sales platform, the Mercedes-Benz Store, ensuring maximum convenience for high-net-worth clients.

Lineup Stratification and Pricing Structures
The domestic deployment strategy encompasses a comprehensive array of choices distributed across nine distinct model variants to satisfy highly specific customer preferences. "The New Mercedes-Benz S-Class" will be offered in six distinct trim levels, stretching from efficient diesel options to highly robust long-wheelbase gasoline powertrains. Prices for the standard S-Class range will start at KRW 154 million and scale up to KRW 270 million, inclusive of value-added tax (VAT). The lineup comprises the S 350 d 4MATIC, S 450 4MATIC, S 450 4MATIC Long Exclusive, S 450 4MATIC Long AMG Line, S 500 4MATIC Long, and the ultra-premium S 580 4MATIC Long.

For individuals seeking uncompromised opulence, "The New Mercedes-Maybach S-Class" elevates the luxury baseline with three meticulously curated ultra-premium trims. The Maybach lineup comprises the standard Maybach S 580, the highly customizable and bespoke Maybach S 580 MANUFAKTUR, and the absolute pinnacle of the series, the V12-powered Maybach S 680. Reflecting their elite craftsmanship and unmatched road presence, the Maybach variants are priced between KRW 317 million and KRW 407 million.

Limited Editions and Client Incentives
To commemorate the highly anticipated unveiling, Mercedes-Benz Korea is introducing two ultra-exclusive collector's editions at launch. Production will be strictly capped at 140 units per edition, guaranteeing instant rarity. The first is the "AMG Line Plus Edition," built upon the foundation of the S 450 4MATIC Long AMG Line. The second is the "Sparkling Black Edition," an artistic and deeply premium execution built on the S 500 4MATIC Long platform. These vehicles are expected to sell out rapidly to brand enthusiasts.

Concurrently, a highly aggressive, comprehensive retention and promotional ecosystem has been launched to reward loyal patrons. Existing owners of previous-generation S-Class models—explicitly including historical Mercedes-Maybach and high-performance AMG S-Class iterations—will be eligible for substantial advantages upon purchasing the facelifted model. The loyalty program guarantees instant cash discounts combined with a complimentary 1-year or 30,000-kilometer extended vehicle warranty. Furthermore, customers utilizing the official trade-in program by surrendering their current vehicles will unlock additional cash discounts, creating an incredibly compelling financial path to upgrade.

While full technical specifications and granular mechanical data will be disclosed closer to the official launch date, Mercedes-Benz Korea has confirmed that public deliveries and the official commercial launch are locked in for the third quarter of 2026. To foster direct consumer engagement and build market momentum, the automaker has established an exclusive physical preview. Brand loyalists and the public can experience the new design language first-hand at the "Mercedes-Benz Studio Seoul," located in the fashionable and culturally prominent district of Seongsu-dong, where both the standard S-Class and the Maybach variants are now prominently showcased.
