As part of the "2026 Know-How Academy"—a program allowing people to directly hear and communicate the creative experiences and stories of prominent figures in the field of culture and arts—the Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation will host the "Literature Walk with Celebrated Figures" featuring author Kim Hong-shin on October 7 (Wednesday) and October 14 (Wednesday) at the Kim Hong-shin Literature Center.

This program is an opportunity to directly hear the stories about life and creative experiences of author Kim Hong-shin, who has worked as a poet, novelist, and essayist, as well as the author of Human Market (In-gan Si-jang), Korea's first million-seller novel. Participants will tour the Kim Hong-shin Literature Center and closely encounter the path of literature he has walked and his stories on creative activities through a lecture by the author.

In particular, the program is designed for participants to contemplate how literature connects with life through the author's works and creative stories, while gaining access to the experiences and know-how of an author who has continued creative activities in a single field for a long time.

The lectures will take place from 2:00 PM on October 7 (Wednesday) and October 14 (Wednesday), respectively. Anyone interested in literature and art, including Chungnam artists and prospective artists, can participate. Applications can be submitted online or by phone.

An official from the Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation stated, "We hope this lecture will give participants an opportunity to directly listen to author Kim Hong-shin's creative experiences and life stories, gaining new perspectives and inspiration on literature and art," adding, "We will continue to provide opportunities for local residents to experience culture and art more closely through programs featuring renowned figures in various fields."

Meanwhile, the "2026 Know-How Academy" is a program designed to share the experiences and know-how of celebrated figures and experts in the culture and arts sector, allowing participants to encounter various cultural and artistic insights.
