MILAN — The worlds of Hollywood and Hallyu collided in spectacular fashion this weekend as George Clooney and Park Bo-gum shared a stage, resulting in a viral moment that has delighted fans worldwide.

The encounter took place on February 7 during the grand opening of "Omega House" in Milan, Italy. The event was held to celebrate the upcoming 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, for which the Swiss luxury watchmaker serves as the official timekeeper.

A Meeting of Global Ambassadors
The gala featured a star-studded guest list, including Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann and Academy Award-winning actress Marisa Tomei. However, the spotlight remained firmly on the brand’s two prominent ambassadors: the legendary Clooney and the "Nation's Younger Brother," Park Bo-gum.

Park, known for his multilingualism and poise, addressed the crowd in fluent English. "I am so happy to be here and to meet all of you," he said. Turning to Clooney, he added, "I never expected to meet you here. I want to cherish this moment."

Clooney’s Witty Praise
Clooney, 64, responded with his signature wit. Placing a friendly arm around the younger actor's shoulder, he quipped to the audience:

"As a 64-year-old looking at him, I’m feeling quite desperate right now. Just look at him. He’s so handsome I could die."
The self-deprecating humor drew roars of laughter from the attendees, highlighting the warm chemistry between the two stars.

Celebrating Excellence
CEO Raynald Aeschlimann praised both men for their contributions to the brand's image. He specifically noted that Park Bo-gum’s "broad acting spectrum and authenticity" perfectly align with Omega’s values of precision and excellence.

Park expressed his gratitude for the partnership, stating, "I have already felt the many values the brand holds. It is an honor to deeper understand the historical role of Omega in the Olympic legacy through this space."
