Sejong City, South Korea – Sejong Technopark announced today that it will host the 2024 Sejong Digital Content Week at the Jochiwon 1927 Art Center from December 4th to 5th.

The event is part of the SW Convergence Cluster 2.0 project, which Sejong Technopark is conducting with the support of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Information and Communications Industry Promotion Agency.

Day 1: Achievement Sharing

On the first day, December 4th, a performance sharing session will be held with the participation of 39 companies that have benefited from the SW Convergence Cluster 2.0 project. The session will feature exhibition zones, promotional booths, and presentations of successful cases by the participating companies.

In addition, Professor Jae-bung Choi of Sungkyunkwan University, an expert in the field of digital content such as AI and metaverse, will deliver a special lecture titled "Survival Strategies in the Age of AI Sapiens," providing insights into survival strategies for the AI era.

Day 2: Investment IR Meetup Day

On the second day, December 5th, an Investment IR Meetup Day will be held, featuring a keynote speech by Young-ha Ko, Chairman of the Korea Angel Investment Association. This year, the Investment IR Meetup Day has been newly added, promising a more diverse Digital Content Week.

The Investment IR Meetup Day will involve 10 companies divided into two leagues: Sejong Runners (for pre-startup and startup companies in the digital content field) and Sejong Rookies (for SMEs in the digital content field). Five companies from each league will participate, and the top companies will be awarded a prize of 12 million won.

Participating companies will receive pre-1:1 mentoring consultations for IR pitching coaching and IR deck improvement. During the final round, six VC judges will directly assess the companies, and over 20 VCs are expected to attend to enhance the companies' investment potential.

Yang Hyun-bong, director of Sejong Technopark, said, "The 2024 Sejong Digital Content Week will be a significant opportunity to share the achievements of local digital content companies and attract new investments. We will continue to strive to support the growth of the regional digital content industry."
