Google Cloud Deploys ‘Gemini Enterprise’ to Samsung Electronics DX Division

SEOUL — Google Cloud announced on Monday that it has entered into a landmark agreement to supply "Gemini Enterprise" to the global workforce of Samsung Electronics’ Device Experience (DX) Division. This deployment marks the single largest-scale integration of enterprise agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) in South Korea to date, signaling a monumental shift toward autonomous, AI-driven corporate ecosystems within the tech giant.

To seamlessly address the highly diversified and strict operational requirements across the DX Division, Google Cloud and Samsung Electronics have co-engineered a robust, dual-layered architecture. Under this strategic framework, Gemini Enterprise is directly deployed into Samsung Electronics’ dedicated Google Cloud tenant environment. This specific architectural configuration is designed to isolate internal data, thereby strictly ensuring complete data sovereignty and enterprise governance across Samsung’s global operations.

Going far beyond the capabilities of a standard standalone chatbot, the Gemini Enterprise application will function as a highly integrated, centralized gateway designed to bridge and unite previously siloed, distributed corporate systems. The platform will serve as an intelligence-based, interactive collaboration hub. This environment enables DX Division employees worldwide to seamlessly conduct real-time searches, synthesize vast repositories of fragmented proprietary data, and extract high-value operational insights instantly.

To ensure widespread adoption and organizational agility, Google Cloud plans to provide comprehensive low-code and no-code customization capabilities. This initiative will empower non-technical personnel and domain experts across corporate functions—including human resources, marketing, and operational management—to independently build, configure, and refine custom AI agents tailored precisely to their day-to-day workflow demands.

In tandem with user-friendly development tools, Google Cloud is delivering an advanced engineering framework and a specialized technical ecosystem. This underlying architecture is meticulously crafted to support Samsung Electronics in seamlessly building, scaling, managing, and optimizing an extensive portfolio of distinct AI models.

By establishing this highly secure, enterprise-grade governance environment, Samsung Electronics is actively building a sophisticated data ecosystem and an operational infrastructure. This foundational setup is strategically positioned to transition the company into its next phase of digital evolution: the widespread implementation of specialized, autonomous, multi-step AI agents capable of independently managing and executing intricate corporate workflows.

"Gemini Enterprise will serve as the crucial entry point for Samsung Electronics employees to step into the era of true enterprise AI," stated Ruth Sun, Managing Director of Google Cloud Korea. "Furthermore, it will establish a deeply secure, reliable foundation that accelerates global business innovation tailored perfectly to the organization’s multifaceted operational demands."
