Paraguay's popular cooking survival program 'MasterChef Celebrity' is set to premiere soon. The show will be hosted by broadcaster Mercedes Almada.

'MasterChef Celebrity' is a spin-off of the original 'MasterChef' format, where regular contestants competed, and features famous personalities showcasing their culinary skills in a reality show. Having garnered significant popularity through previous seasons aired on Paraguay's Telefuturo channel, this new version of the 'MasterChef' series has high expectations from viewers.

This time, 'MasterChef Celebrity' will air on the SNT channel instead of the previous one, and it is drawing even more attention as Mercedes Almada takes over hosting duties from Paola Maltese, the former host.

The change in hosts has already generated considerable interest. This is because Paola Maltese, who has excellently hosted 'MasterChef' for many seasons, has a strong image associated with the program. On the other hand, Mercedes Almada has mainly been active in the field of information delivery as an anchor for Canal 9's news program 'Noticiero 24 Horas,' making this hosting role in a variety show a new challenge for her.

The primary reason for the host change is reportedly Paola Maltese's busy schedule. She is preparing for her return to TV dramas with HEi Films and Telefuturo. Maltese, who is both an actress and a broadcaster, will star in a new drama alongside famous actors such as Lali González, Silvia Flores, and Alicia Guerra.

The exact premiere date, day, and time for 'MasterChef Celebrity' have not yet been announced, but it is expected to air sometime in May.

Confirmed celebrity participants include former soccer player Epifanio González, comedian Gustavo Cabaña, javelin thrower Leryn Franco, broadcaster Lourdes García Stark, model Jessica Torres, singer Ramón Silva, soccer player Peke Benítez, singer Fátima Román, model Karina Griselda, and broadcaster Natalia Sosa Jovellanos. These individuals have built public recognition in their respective fields, further raising anticipation for their culinary skills and competitive dynamics on 'MasterChef Celebrity.' In particular, the participation of celebrities from various fields such as sports stars, entertainers, and broadcasters is expected to provide even richer and more exciting entertainment.

The 'MasterChef' format is a globally successful cooking survival program, produced and aired in various versions that reflect the culture and characteristics of each country. The Paraguayan version has also received enthusiastic responses from viewers through previous seasons, and this celebrity version is already garnering much attention with its more glamorous cast and thrilling competition.

It remains to be seen how Mercedes Almada will lead 'MasterChef Celebrity' based on her experience in hosting information programs, and what culinary skills and charms the new participants will showcase. Paraguayan viewers are eagerly awaiting the premiere, anticipating the delicious culinary showdown of stars that will soon unfold in their living rooms.
