Provincial Autonomy Police Committee Holds H2 Autonomous Police AI Training on the 20th

Chungcheongnam-do Autonomous Police Committee conducted the "Generative AI-Based Autonomous Police Work Capacity Building Training" at the provincial government's information education room on the 20th, targeting 30 autonomy police officers.

This training was organized to enhance the digital work competency of autonomy police officers in response to the spread of artificial intelligence across general administration, thereby improving administrative efficiency and the quality of public security services provided to residents.

The training focused on learning the basic concepts of generative AI and methods for its effective application.

In particular, hands-on practice centered on content applicable to actual administrative tasks—such as drafting official documents and reports, and information retrieval—ensuring that trainees can utilize what they have learned in the field.

Key contents included:

Basic understanding of generative AI
Effective prompt writing techniques
Drafting official documents and reports
AI-based real-time search and information collection

The committee expects that this training will reduce the time spent on repetitive administrative tasks and enhance work processing capabilities utilizing artificial intelligence.

Lee Jong-won, Chairman of the Chungcheongnam-do Autonomous Police Committee, stated, "Artificial intelligence is an important tool that increases administrative efficiency and supports prompt and systematic work processing. Building on this year's training achievements, we will expand training opportunities and scope next year to support autonomy police officers in actively utilizing AI in field operations and proactively responding to the changing public security environment."
