Vision Announced Marking 100 Days of the 9th Popularly Elected Administration… '5 Core Goals and 77 Projects' Revealed

Cheonan Mayor Chang Ki-soo announced the 5 core goals and 77 practical projects of the "365 Happy Cheonan" initiative on the 8th, marking 100 days since the inauguration of the 9th popularly elected administration.

Speaking directly as the presenter at the "365 Happy Cheonan Vision Declaration Ceremony" held in the city hall conference room, Mayor Chang looked back on the administration's operations over the past 100 days and outlined future policy directions.

Attended by some 100 citizens and officials, the event was themed "365 Happy Cheonan Illuminated by the Light of Citizens." It featured celebratory performances, a vision video screening, a presentation on municipal directions, a citizen empathy talk, and a vision declaration performance.

Mayor Chang introduced "Opening Public Facilities 365 Days a Year," his very first official document signed after taking office, as the prime example of "administration tailored to the citizens' time."

Summarizing the past 100 days of administration with three keywords—"We will listen, we will act, and we will stand together"—he noted that the city has expanded communication with citizens and strengthened cooperation and networking by directly visiting major project sites.

Presenting "365 Happy Cheonan" as the new municipal vision and "Cheonan's Great Transformation, Together with Citizens" as the administrative slogan, Mayor Chang emphasized that he will lead the city focusing on 5 core goals, 10 strategies, and 77 practical projects.

The 5 core goals are: △365 Happy Daily Life, △360-Degree Balanced Development, △1 Million Companion Economy, △24-Hour Customized Welfare, and △Top-Tier Innovative Administration.

In detail, "365 Happy Daily Life" pursues year-round public facility openings and the expansion of community sports and urban resting spaces. "360-Degree Balanced Development" focuses on strengthening regional connectivity through the utilization of the Independence Hall Seogok District, development of the northern region, and the revitalization of Cheonan Station.

"1 Million Companion Economy" aims to broaden the horizons of the local economy by establishing an AI national industrial complex and supporting small business owners. "24-Hour Customized Welfare" strengthens tailored welfare services including Cheonan-style postpartum care and childcare. "Top-Tier Innovative Administration" encompasses AI-based administrative service improvements, enhancement of public officials' capabilities, and expanded cooperation within the Cheonan-Asan joint living zone.

Following the presentation of municipal directions, a citizen empathy talk was held under the theme of "Cheonan Desired by Citizens." Mayor Chang responded to pre-submitted opinions and on-site questions, discussing policy directions with residents. The event concluded with a "Light" performance, symbolizing how citizens' voices connect into light to illuminate the city.

Mayor Chang stated, "If my very first document signed upon taking office was '365,' the next four years must ensure a happy day for every single citizen. Together, we will build a city where citizens can physically feel changes in their everyday lives 365 days a year."
