Chungnam Province holds a children's song contest... About 600 infants, parents, and faculty members from 10 daycare centers participate

Chungnam Province, together with the Chungnam Support Center for Childcare, has provided an opportunity for harmony and communication where infants, parents, and childcare teachers become one through children's songs.

On the 17th, the province held the "2026 Children's Song Contest: Picnic (疏風 - Wind of Communication)" at the main auditorium of the provincial government's Literature and Arts Hall, with the attendance of about 600 people, including Administrative Vice Governor Hong Jong-wan, infants, parents, and childcare faculty members from 10 daycare center teams.

This event was organized to provide a venue for harmony and communication where infants, parents, and childcare teachers unite, and to foster a childcare community culture where everyone can empathize and enjoy together through children's songs.

The participating teams showcased the children's songs they had prepared, spending time singing and enjoying together with the audience. The event added significance in that, beyond a simple competition, infants, parents, and childcare teachers prepared and participated in the stage together.

Administrative Vice Governor Hong Jong-wan said, "I hope this children's song contest becomes a meaningful time where children's bright smiles and the warm hearts of parents and childcare teachers come together as one," adding, "We will continue to create a Chungnam where infants, parents, and childcare teachers can all be happy."
