Cheonan City announced on the 17th that KMF Co., Ltd. has been selected as the grand prize winner of the 22nd Cheonan City Businessmen Awards.

For the category-specific grand prizes, GNST Co., Ltd. was selected for Technology, Cookmate Co., Ltd. for Management, Woongbi Machine Co., Ltd. for Export, and Naipy Co., Ltd. for Startup.

Six companies were named for the Outstanding Businessperson Award: JCF, Assomnics Co., Ltd., Gas Chem Technology Co., Ltd., Digital Co., Ltd., Geummyung Precision, and Dawon CTS Co., Ltd.

Twelve workers from 11 companies, including Seokwoo Co., Ltd., were selected as exemplary workers, and two individuals, including an official from the Chungnam Northern Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were chosen as contributors to small and medium-sized enterprise support.

Now in its 22nd year, the "Cheonan City Businessmen Awards" is an awards system that discovers and honors companies and business people who have contributed to regional industrial development and enhancing corporate competitiveness. The city accepted candidates starting in June and finalized the final winners through document screening and on-site inspections.

The awards ceremony will be held on November 18 at the Cheonan City Hall Conference Room.

Cheonan Mayor Chang Ki-soo said, "I thank the business people and workers who have contributed to regional economic development through technological innovation and management activities," adding, "We will continue field-centered policies that support corporate growth."
