100 Selection certificates awarded and production subsidies provided to the 8 final winning products

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Culture and Tourism Foundation (CEO Lee Kyung-yoon, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) selected 8 final products for the "2026 Tourism Souvenirs 100 Selection," which represent Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, and held an awards ceremony on September 18 at 3 PM in the 5th-floor conference room of the Foundation.

The Foundation conducted a call for entries for the "Tourism Souvenirs 100 Selection Product Competition" for 50 days from June 15 to August 3. Through the 1st round of physical product evaluation and the 2nd round of on-site evaluation of the 64 submitted products, 8 final products were chosen.

The selected products are ▲ Tiger Card Wallet (Ongolab, Park Seo-hee), ▲ Moist Chok-Chok Lip Balm (Jibang-jiyeok, Shin Kang-chan), ▲ Flower Shoes Lamp (Dak-kkot, Kim Soon-hwa), ▲ Jeongeup Tourism Goods Character Contents (Culture & Arts Creation Lab Co., Ltd., Oh Jung-yeol), ▲ Celadon Gold-Inlaid Peony Pattern Cup (Buan Ceramic Studio, Kim Moon-sik), ▲ Carbon Mother-of-Pearl Keyring (Eul by Eul, Lee Eul), ▲ Saekdong Tea Mat (Moon Studio, Moon Kyung-sook), and ▲ Fabric Art Ward-off North Sea-Bream (Hwajeong Gallery, Yoo Seo-young), totaling 8 items.

The awards ceremony consisted of the presentation of the 100 Selection certificates, acceptance speeches by the selected businesses, an exhibition of the winning works, and a commemorative photo session.

The Foundation plans to provide multi-faceted support for the selected products, including entering the "Tourism Souvenirs 100 Selection Hall," granting 2 million won in production subsidies to each, supporting promotional marketing, participating in tourism souvenir fairs, and granting the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province tourism souvenir certification mark.

In addition, the 8 selected products are scheduled to be showcased to residents through a special exhibition for the entire month of October at the "Tourism Souvenirs 100 Selection Hall" located inside Hanok Village.

Choi Young-gyu, Secretary General, stated, "As the years go by, diverse products are being discovered through this competition," adding, "We hope that the selected products will establish themselves as representative tourism souvenirs of Jeonbuk and contribute to revitalizing local tourism consumption."

Meanwhile, the "Tourism Souvenirs 100 Selection Product Competition" is an annual project promoted to discover tourism souvenirs that capture the regional characteristics of Jeonbuk, such as its history, culture, and natural environment, thereby enhancing Jeonbuk's tourism image and expanding tourism consumption.
