Former KBS announcer Lee Hye-sung is set to reveal her long-hidden baking prowess in the upcoming episode of MBN’s survival program, World of Baking.

In the third episode, scheduled to air on February 15 at 9:40 PM, Lee will participate in the first round of the competition by presenting her "signature bread." Her dedication to the craft is rooted in a deep, personal passion; during the filming, she candidly shared that she once gained 10kg from binge-eating bread after passing her announcer exam.

Lee is no mere hobbyist. Having held a national baker’s certification for five years, she revealed that her commitment to the art even took her as far as San Francisco for professional study. She currently maintains her own private workshop to consistently hone her skills.

The upcoming broadcast has generated significant buzz as Lee prepares to unveil her "companion yeast," which she has meticulously cultivated over the past five years. However, the competition remains stiff. Judge Lee Seok-won raised the stakes with a sharp critique, stating, "I am closely examining what truly sets her apart from other professional bakers."

The third episode will also feature 14-year-old Kim Gyu-rin, the show's youngest contestant. Viewers are eager to see if the young prodigy can successfully complete the grueling four-hour mission amidst unexpected challenges.
