Mexico City - Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum recently revealed that her mobile phone and email accounts were hacked. President Sheinbaum stated during a regular press conference, "My phone and email were hacked, and Apple immediately contacted the government's Digital Transformation Agency."   

The president added that the Digital Transformation Agency, upon recognizing the hacking, responded quickly and resolved the issue. However, the identity of the hackers has not yet been disclosed.

This hacking incident occurred after the New York Times reported, "President Sheinbaum's phone was hacked shortly after criminals were extradited to the United States." President Sheinbaum acknowledged the report but did not comment on who was responsible for the hacking.
