Up to 30% Discount on 'Seoul Delivery+' ('Ddanggyeo-yo') Orders in Gangnam, Gwanak, and Yeongdeungpo Districts

Residents in the Gangnam, Gwanak, and Yeongdeungpo districts of Seoul can receive up to a 30% discount when ordering food through the public delivery app 'Seoul Delivery+ Ddanggyeo'.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 7th that it has been implementing a '10% Payback Promotion' since April 28th for the pilot public delivery service districts of Gangnam, Gwanak, and Yeongdeungpo.

The Payback Promotion works by refunding consumers 10% of their payment amount as delivery-exclusive vouchers when they use local love gift certificates issued by the respective districts to place orders on the 'Seoul Delivery+ Ddanggyeo' app. When combined with the local love gift certificate's inherent discount (5~15%) and 'Ddanggyeo' point accumulation (5%), consumers can enjoy a maximum discount of 30%.

To place an order on 'Seoul Delivery+ Ddanggyeo', users can purchase district-specific love gift certificates or 'Ddanggyeo' vouchers through the Seoul Pay+ app. They can then click on the 'Seoul Delivery+' banner on the Seoul Pay+ main screen or select the corresponding voucher for payment when placing a delivery order on the 'Ddanggyeo' app.

Support is also being provided to store owners. Businesses located within Gangnam, Gwanak, and Yeongdeungpo districts that join the platform will receive an additional 'Owner Support Fund' of 200,000 won without any conditions. In addition to a 2% lower delivery commission fee, the platform offers a fast settlement system, with bank transfers processed on the same day and card payments settled the following day. With no sign-up fees, monthly usage fees, or advertising costs, store owners can stably increase their sales without the burden of fixed expenses.

Han Jeong-hoon, Head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Small Business Policy Division, stated, "For the sustainable growth of the public delivery service, the participation of store owners is as crucial as the expansion of consumer usage. We will do our utmost to create a win-win public delivery ecosystem that grows together with the private sector by expanding consumer benefits and supporting store owners."
