Dumulmeori, located in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, is a picturesque spot where the Namhan River and Bukhan River converge. The name "Dumulmeori" literally translates to "two water heads," aptly describing the meeting of these two rivers.

This serene location is renowned for its breathtaking natural scenery, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Dumulmeori is particularly famous for its early morning mist, which creates a mystical atmosphere as it blankets the waters and surrounding landscape.

Visitors to Dumulmeori can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the riverside paths, taking in the stunning views of the two rivers and the lush greenery that surrounds them. The area is also home to a number of traditional Korean-style gardens, adding to the charm of the place.

Dumulmeori is not just a feast for the eyes; it also offers a glimpse into Korean history and culture. The area was once a bustling port, serving as a major transportation hub for goods traveling along the rivers. Today, visitors can still see remnants of this past, such as the old ferry dock and the traditional Korean-style houses that dot the landscape.

Whether you're a nature lover, a history buff, or simply someone looking for a peaceful escape, Dumulmeori has something to offer everyone. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, learn about Korean culture, and create lasting memories.

Getting There:

Dumulmeori is easily accessible by public transportation. Take the subway to Yangsu Station (Gyeongui-Jungang Line), and then take a local bus to Dumulmeori.
