On April 15th (local time), Governor Kim Young-hwan of Chungcheongbuk-do delivered a special lecture to undergraduate and graduate students at Harvard University's Kennedy School, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

The lecture focused on the philosophy and direction of Chungcheongbuk-do's policies, recent innovative policies implemented in the province, and digital transformation for its residents. Approximately 50 students attended, showing great interest.

In his lecture, Governor Kim stated, "The foundation of Chungcheongbuk-do's policy implementation lies in prioritizing the improvement of the lives of the socially vulnerable." He introduced practical examples in the welfare sector, including: △"Working Soup Kitchen" for self-reliant welfare, △"Medical Bill Deferred Payment System" to address medical blind spots, and △"Urban Farmers and Urban Workers" for job creation and regional synergy.

He also emphasized that Chungcheongbuk-do is preparing AI for people and digital transformation for its residents, stressing that AI technology should be used to assist people, not replace them.

At the end of his lecture, he received a standing ovation after conveying the message to Harvard students, "As global talents, you are creative leaders who will move the world. I support your future of challenge and innovation."
