This prestigious event, the largest of its kind in Gyeongsangnam Province, marks a significant celebration of athletic prowess, inclusivity, and community spirit. Over two days, approximately 4,200 dedicated athletes and officials representing 18 cities and counties across the province will engage in spirited competition across a diverse range of 29 sporting disciplines.

The opening ceremony was a spectacle of pride and enthusiasm, drawing an estimated 2,200 attendees, including esteemed dignitaries such as Jinju Mayor Cho Kyoo-il, Park Il-dong, Director of the Culture and Sports Bureau of Gyeongsangnam-do Province, Ryu Gye-hyun, Vice Chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council, and Baek Seung-heung, Chairman of the Jinju City Council. The formal segment of the opening ceremony commenced with the dignified parade of athletes. Led by the flag-bearing students from Jinju Health College, delegations from each of the 18 participating cities and counties made their grand entrance into the stadium, synchronized to the stirring melodies of the Air Force Education and Training Command Military Band. The procession culminated with the arrival of the host city, Jinju's, delegation, met with enthusiastic applause.
