Paraguayan products are making significant strides in the global market, showcased at international events like the prestigious Foodex Japan. This year, Paraguay proudly participates in the 50th edition of Foodex Japan, Asia's premier international food and beverage exhibition, held from March 11th to 14th at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center.

This marks Paraguay's fourth appearance at this pivotal trade fair, recognized as Asia's most critical business platform. Foodex Japan attracts leading companies in the food and beverage industry, providing a stage to explore a curated selection of global culinary offerings.

Paraguay's Ambassador to Japan, Mario Toyotoshi, visited the national pavilion, engaging with representatives from Paraguayan companies. Gustavo Rodríguez, the sectoral specialist for Food and Beverages from Rediex, who spearheaded the national delegation's organization, was also present.

The Paraguayan pavilion showcases a diverse range of products from prominent national companies:

Agropecuaria Produza, Agrícola Knelsen, and Ecotrading Yva Py: Presenting chia seeds and their derivatives, including oils and flours.
Dulsan Orgánica: Featuring a wide assortment of organic products such as chia, sesame, beans, peanuts, and amaranth, alongside oils, teas, and herbs like stevia, lemon verbena, yerba mate, and bitter orange.
TGL Foods: Displaying innovative products like safflower, quinoa, mung beans, chickpeas, granola bars, and raw materials such as citrus peels.
Rediex has reiterated its commitment to positioning Paraguay as a benchmark for quality and innovation in international markets. Paraguay's participation in Foodex Japan aims to unlock new opportunities within the Asian market.

Foodex Japan, over its 50-year history, has hosted over 80,000 exhibitors and 4 million buyers, establishing itself as a leading platform for global food trend promotion, innovation, and sustainability. The 2025 edition gathers more than 2,500 exhibitors from 60 countries, fostering new commercial prospects and addressing evolving global challenges.

To give a wider scope of Foodex Japan, it is important to include these points:

Foodex Japan is one of the largest food and beverage trade shows in Asia.
It provides an excellent opportunity for companies to showcase their products, network with potential buyers, and learn about the latest industry trends.
The event attracts a wide range of attendees, including importers, distributors, retailers, and food service professionals.
By participating in events like Foodex Japan, Paraguay is actively working to expand its presence in the global food market.
