Barranquilla, Colombia – The Colombian national football team is facing a "yellow card alert" ahead of its critical World Cup South American qualifying match against Brazil. Led by coach Néstor Lorenzo, the Colombian team is scheduled to play Brazil on March 20th. However, more than ten key players are at risk of being suspended for the home game against Paraguay on March 25th if they receive another yellow card.

According to World Cup South American qualifying regulations, players are automatically suspended for the next match after accumulating two yellow cards. Currently, key players such as Luis Díaz, Juan Fernando Quintero, and Camilo Vargas are among those at risk of suspension. John Háder Durán has already been suspended for the match against Brazil due to yellow card accumulation.

Coach Néstor Lorenzo has urged his players to be cautious, stating, "We must be very careful. We know that every warning is important, and some of these players are essential to the team structure. It is important to maintain focus to avoid unnecessary warnings."

The Colombian national team faces the dual challenge of securing points against Brazil while managing its players' yellow card accumulation to prepare for the match against Paraguay.
