Incheon, South Korea - Lee Ki-seong, Director-General of Overseas Koreans Policy at the Overseas Koreans Agency (Commissioner Lee Sang-deok), met with Shin Andrei, Chairman of the Korean National Center in Almaty, on the afternoon of April 7th at the agency's headquarters in Songdo, Incheon. The meeting focused on understanding the current situation of the Korean community in Kazakhstan and discussing future cooperation plans.

During the meeting, Chairman Shin highlighted the active engagement of the Korean community in Kazakhstan. He elaborated on initiatives undertaken by Korean organizations, including the establishment of the K-PARK in Almaty and the homeland visit program for Korean compatriots.

Director-General Lee explained the support programs for Korean compatriots being implemented by the Overseas Koreans Agency. He proposed continued communication and collaboration between the agency and the Korean National Center in Almaty to ensure the stable settlement of Korean compatriots in Kazakhstan.
