11th regular concert to be held at Woojin Art Space on October 10
Different movements blooming from a single beginning, resounding together

The Martial Arts Performance Art Troupe Jimudan (Representative Kim Yoon-jung), selected for the '2026 Culture and Arts Promotion Support Project' by the Jeonbuk State Tourism Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation), will present its 11th regular concert, 'Gongmyeong - Matullim' (Resonance), on Saturday, October 10 at 4:00 PM at Woojin Art Space in Jeonju.

'Gongmyeong - Matullim' is themed under "Different movements blooming from a single beginning, resounding together." The performance is composed of diverse works containing the experiences and individuality that members have accumulated while learning sword dances together.

The opening stage will feature the group piece "Approaching Mind." This will be followed by ▲ "Subaeryeong" by Kim Dan-bi and Shin Da-eun, ▲ "World in a Dream" by Park Ha-won, ▲ "Forest of Swords" by Kim Yoon-jung, ▲ the group piece "Jeonju Scandal," ▲ "Gobongbap (Heaping Bowl of Rice)" by Choi Young-ae, ▲ "Pungryu" by the Mumu Club, ▲ "Jaebimori" by Jung Seon-bin, and ▲ "Blacksmith" by Kim Ha-eun. Jimudan's signature repertoire, "Sortie," will grandly decorate the finale.

In particular, "Pungryu" is a piece presented by the Haedong Kumdo instructors' sword dance gathering "Mumu Club" at the opening demonstration of the 2026 Haedong Kumdo World Championship. The Mumu Club is a gathering formed in 2025 by instructors sharing the vision of Representative Kim Yoon-jung, who meet monthly to learn sword dances and choreography. Ahn Soo-jin, Kim Min, Bae Yong-woon, and Kim Sun-woo will perform in this concert.

The production team includes General Director Kim Yoon-jung, Director Kwon Ji-in, Lighting Director Kwon Jin-young, and Stage Manager Jung Seon-bin, who will bring out the individuality of each piece and refine the overall flow of the performance.

Representative Kim Yoon-jung shared, "Members with diverse experiences have learned sword dances together at Jimudan, creating their own unique movements. I hope this performance becomes a meaningful occasion where everyone's time and effort resonate with one another, and that resonance is successfully delivered to the audience."

Meanwhile, Jimudan is a troupe led by Representative Kim Yoon-jung since 2008, showcasing martial arts performance art that combines swordsmanship with traditional Korean dance and theatrical elements. The troupe has participated in the Yeongju Seonbi World permanent exhibition for two consecutive years and presented martial arts sword dances at cultural heritage night tours in Jeonju, Gimje, and Buan. This year, they won the Presidential Award—the grand prize overall—at the 23rd National Martial Arts King Selection Contest.

Admission is 15,000 KRW, and tickets can be booked at a regular discount price of 10,000 KRW via Naver Reservation.

For more information, please contact Jimudan Representative Kim Yoon-jung (010-5798-9664) or Performance Team Leader Jung Seon-bin (010-6449-9664).
