LG Uplus's "U+ Two Plus" Membership Benefits Program Surpasses 8 Million Participants

SEOUL, South Korea – February 2, 2025 – LG Uplus, a leading telecommunications provider in South Korea, today announced that its "U+ Two Plus" membership benefits program has reached a milestone of over 8 million participating customers.

Launched in April 2024, "U+ Two Plus" offers a wide range of discounts and coupons for various brands and products on specific days each month. The program has seen remarkable success in its first nine months, with a total of 122 partner companies participating and an average of 45 discount benefits offered monthly.

According to data analysis by LG Uplus, customers have downloaded an average of five discount coupons per month, resulting in a total of 86.8 billion KRW (approximately 65 million USD) in potential savings.

The most popular benefits among customers include:

Free cola and beverage with CGV movie tickets
12,000 KRW discount on Baskin-Robbins's Quarter size ice cream
3,000 KRW coupon for Daiso
The partner companies with the highest accumulated discount amounts are:

Outback Steakhouse (25% discount)
VIPS Restaurant (45% discount)
Pizza Hut (55% discount + 1.25L cola)
In terms of customer demographics, women in their 20s and 40s make up the largest share of participants, while men in their 30s and 40s also show high participation rates.

LG Uplus plans to continue expanding "U+ Two Plus" by collaborating with more partners in various fields to ensure ongoing customer engagement. This month, the program offers benefits such as:

Free serving of pork belly at Goban Restaurant (with purchase of 2 or more servings)
Free popcorn and cola at CGV cinemas
Free coffee beverage at Hollys Coffee
Up to 3,000 KRW discount on cake pieces at Pascucci
Additionally, from February 17th to 21st, 50 lucky customers will have the opportunity to participate in a docent tour and jewelry styling event at the Swarovski Dosan Park flagship store.
