SEOUL — South Korea’s Hanmi Pharmaceutical is doubling down on its commitment to nurturing the domestic biotech ecosystem by partnering with Samsung Securities for an upcoming venture-investor matchmaking event.

Scheduled for November 27 at the Hanmi C&C Square in Songpa-gu, Seoul, the "Hanmi × Samsung Securities Bio Innovation Day" marks the pharmaceutical giant's second collaborative showcase this year, following a similar joint initiative with Kiwoom Securities in July. Under the banner "The Future of Healthcare Driven by Novel Therapeutics and Artificial Intelligence," the conference aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge startups and institutional capital.

The upcoming forum will spotlight four high-potential Korean startups specializing in AI-driven healthcare and next-generation therapeutics:

*Sleep Forest: Developer of AI-powered digital therapeutics for sleep intervention.
*Easy Cardio: Creator of advanced AI software designed for cardiovascular disease diagnosis and prognosis.
*Pi Healthcare: Innovator behind retinal imaging-based AI diagnostic solutions.
*Frayzer Therapeutics: A platform-based drug discovery enterprise leveraging AI and targeted protein degradation (TPD).

The program will kick off with a special corporate presentation by Hanmi Pharmaceutical, highlighting the digital convergence innovation unlocked by its proprietary "Total Lifestyle Care (TLC) Platform." This will be followed by individual Investor Relations (IR) sessions where the participating startups will pitch their core technologies and long-term business roadmaps. The event will also feature exclusive, one-on-one networking and investment consultations between the ventures and invited financial stakeholders.

Target participants include representatives from venture capital (VC) firms, private equity (PE) funds, securities brokerages, and asset management houses. Online registration for industry professionals remains open through November 25.

"Our goal is to build a sustainable networking platform that turns promising biotech innovations into tangible investments and strategic alliances," a representative from Hanmi Pharmaceutical noted. "We remain dedicated to energizing the broader domestic bio-healthcare landscape."
