Held in conjunction with the Jeonju National Heritage Night Festival to boost card awareness among residents and tourists

JEONJU — The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Culture and Tourism Foundation (CEO Lee Kyung-yoon) announced that it will host the '2026 Nurimi Festa' for three days from October 2 to 4 at the White Hanok House (Hayang Yangokjib) in Jeonju Hanok Village to promote the active use of the Culture Card (Integrated Culture Voucher).
This event was organized to widely publicize the Culture Card to provincial residents and tourists, focusing on introducing the card's diverse usage options so that eligible individuals do not miss out on benefits simply because they are unaware of the program.
At the outdoor space of the White Hanok House, the 'Nurimi Market (Flea Market)' and the 'Nuri Experience Zone (Cultural Experience)' will be operated with the direct participation of Culture Card-affiliated merchants. Visitors can browse merchant goods, participate in cultural activities, and discover the various ways the Culture Card can be utilized.

On the second-floor terrace of the White Hanok House, a 'Terrace Busking' performance will take place, adding excitement to the autumn night festival. Additionally, an event offering prizes to visitors who participate in a survey regarding the Culture Card will be held at the venue.
CEO Lee Kyung-yoon stated, "The Culture Card truly gains meaning when those in need know about the system and use it in a timely manner. Since this event is arranged to coincide with the Jeonju National Heritage Night Festival—a period frequented by many residents and tourists—we hope it becomes an occasion to enjoy the autumn night festival while getting to know the Culture Card much more closely."

Meanwhile, the Culture Card is a program that supports individuals aged 6 and older from basic livelihood security and near-poverty households with an annual grant of 150,000 KRW per person (with an additional 10,000 KRW for adolescents and those undergoing life-transition stages) to help them enjoy arts, culture, tourism, and sports activities. As the regional organizing body for Jeonbuk, the Foundation is supporting approximately 140,000 Culture Card recipients across 14 cities and counties in the province this year, with usage available at over 2,100 affiliated stores within the province. This year's support funds must be used by December 31.
