Hosted Jogakbo (Traditional Patchwork) Card Making and Side-Dish Sharing at Sunchang Disabled Sports Center on October 2
Carried out ESG social contribution activities targeting local seniors

The Jeonbuk State Institute for Culture and Tourism (CEO Lee Kyung-yoon, hereinafter referred to as the Institute) announced that it carried out cultural and arts experience and side-dish sharing activities for local seniors at the Sunchang Disabled Sports Center on October 2.

This initiative was promoted to communicate with the local community through culture and arts, and to fulfill the Institute's social role through sharing for neighbors.

In particular, the Institute's staff participated in a social contribution activity prepared by the Jeonbuk State Volunteer Center and the Sunchang-gun Volunteer Center. They operated an experience booth to make Jogakbo cards using cultural arts education kits, guiding seniors through the process of utilizing leftover Hanbok fabric and assisting them in crafting their cards.

Seniors experienced the beauty of traditional Korean crafts by directly selecting and arranging Hanbok fabrics of various colors and patterns to create their own unique Jogakbo cards.

Following the experience activity, Institute staff delivered personally packaged side-dishes to the seniors, sharing warm hearts with them.

CEO Lee Kyung-yoon stated, "I hope that the cultural and arts experience became a time that added joy to the daily lives of local seniors," adding, "We will continue to communicate with the local community through social contribution activities that leverage the Institute's unique characteristics."
