Chungnam Province announced on the 6th that it successfully concluded the '2026 Vietnam Business Matching Day,' held in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in entering the Vietnamese market and expanding their export sales channels.
The event, jointly hosted by the province, the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency, and Daejeon TJB, took place in Ho Chi Minh City on the 3rd and Hanoi on the 5th.

A total of 34 promising export SMEs from the province participated in this event, including 15 companies in the consumer goods sector and 19 companies in the industrial goods sector.
In addition to 1.1 tailored export consultations with local buyers, the province also focused on increasing the likelihood of actual transactions by simultaneously conducting on-site consultations (outbound) where companies directly visited buyers' factories and office buildings.

Furthermore, the province supported product promotion activities utilizing local mobile promotional networks such as TikTok.
During the consultation sessions, a variety of products attracted local buyers' attention, ranging from consumer goods such as seasoned laver, red ginseng, soybean paste soup cubes, and functional cosmetics to industrial goods such as eco-friendly organic agricultural materials and building materials.

As a result of the consultations, Ho Chi Minh City achieved a total of 163 export consultation sessions worth $37.72 million and concluded export agreements worth $13.11 million across 24 cases.
In Hanoi, a total of 190 export consultation sessions worth $30.80 million were held, alongside export agreements worth $10.62 million signed across 24 cases.

In particular, Allus Co., Ltd. (a manufacturer of aluminum auto parts) located in Cheonan signed an export agreement (MOU) worth $2.5 million through this matching day, while Noksaek Fertilizer (organic fertilizer) in the Hongseong region achieved on-site consultation results worth $400,000.
An official from the province stated, "Vietnam is a market with high potential for our local companies' entry due to its economic growth and strong preference for the Korean Wave (Hallyu)," adding, "Building on this event, we will focus on follow-up management linked with our overseas offices to ensure that consultation performance leads to actual contracts and additional exports."
