Bucheon City held the ‘2026 Bucheon Entrepreneurs Day’ ceremony on the 16th at Bucheon Chaelim Wedding Hall to encourage entrepreneurs leading the local economy.

Under the slogan “Beyond Innovation to the Future, Bucheon Running Together,” this event was organized to honor the hard work of entrepreneurs who have contributed to regional economic development and to strengthen communication and cooperation between businesses and related organizations. The event was attended by approximately 250 people, including key figures such as national, provincial, and city assembly members, representatives from related organizations, and local business associations.

The 1st part of the commemorative ceremony began with a celebratory performance, followed by the awarding of commendations to meritorious persons, remarks and congratulatory speeches, and a commemorative photo session. Notably, a commendation ceremony was held for 50 outstanding entrepreneurs who have contributed to the industrial development of Bucheon City. The winners were selected in recognition of their outstanding achievements in various fields, including job creation, technological innovation, and revitalization of the local economy.

At the venue, a "Hall of Fame" introducing their achievements and contributions, as well as a photo zone for commemorative photos, were prepared to boost the pride of the entrepreneurs and add meaning to the event.

In the 2nd part, entrepreneurs and representatives from related organizations shared a luncheon and networking time to share possibilities for mutual cooperation and strengthen their commitment to regional economic development.

Cho Yong-ik, Mayor of Bucheon, said, "I thank the entrepreneurs who have sustained the local economy and worked hard on job creation and industrial development despite difficult conditions," adding, "Going forward, Bucheon City will listen closely to the voices of business sites and support the reinforcement of competitiveness and sustainable growth for local companies."
