Scheduled for October 24 at 3:00 PM at the Geumryansan Youth Training Institute… A venue where youths can showcase their dreams and talents, and citizens can enjoy a variety of cultural and artistic experience activities.

The Busan Geumryansan Youth Training Institute announced that it will host the 31st Geumryansan Festival on October 24 at 3:00 PM at the Geumryansan Youth Training Institute.

Marking its 31st anniversary this year, the Geumryansan Festival is designed to provide youth with opportunities to fully express their dreams and talents, while allowing citizens to participate in diverse cultural and artistic activities and astronomical observations.

In particular, under this year's theme, "Rock & Star, Where Youth Dreams Shine!", visitors can look forward to youth band and performance programs showcasing youthful passion, alongside various hands-on experience activities and astronomical space science programs.

[Part 1 Events: Youth Performances] From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the youth performance program will feature various stages, including youth bands and a special guest performance by "Picking Man," allowing youths to present the skills and talents they have practiced to citizens.

[Part 2 Events: Experience Booths and Astronomical Events] From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, interactive programs will be operated, offering participants hands-on activities such as making lunar rover models and creating spooky-sparkly pumpkin lanterns. Additionally, the observatory will host an event where participants can directly observe stars and planets using astronomical telescopes. The planetarium will also enhance interest and curiosity in astronomy and space science through vivid space video programs utilizing a dome screen.

The Geumryansan Youth Training Institute expects this festival to vitalize youth cultural and artistic activities, and provide citizens with a special experience where nature, science, and culture blend together.

In particular, through youth-driven performances and hands-on activities, the festival is expected to foster self-confidence and creativity in youths, while serving as a festival ground where families and citizens can communicate and enjoy together.

Any youth or citizen can participate in the event. For more information, please check the training institute's website (www.busan.go.kr/youth/) or call the Geumryansan Youth Training Institute (☎ 051-610-3222).

Park Mi-young, Director of the Geumryansan Youth Training Institute, stated, "I hope the 31st Geumryansan Festival becomes a meaningful time for youths to fully showcase their dreams and talents, and for citizens to create special memories amidst the beautiful nature of Mount Geumryansan on an autumn night," adding, "We will continue to operate diverse cultural and experiential programs in which youths and citizens can participate and enjoy together."
