Promoting the Expo in connection with the Ganggyeong Jeotgal Festival

The Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") is conducting promotional activities for the "2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo" at the "2026 Ganggyeong Jeotgal Festival," which runs for four days from October 15 to 18.

Targeting visitors to the festival grounds, the Committee is introducing the expo's schedule and main programs, while also carrying out advance ticket reservation guidance and sales activities to build momentum for a successful event.

By linking with the Ganggyeong Jeotgal Festival—a major regional event—the Committee aims to introduce tourists to Nonsan's diverse attractions and boost national awareness of the "2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo," the first international event of its kind to be held in Nonsan.

The Committee has been actively pursuing promotional efforts, including operating a promotional booth at the "Every Corner Culture Day (Culture Picnic)" held on the 14th.

The 2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo will take place for 24 days from February 26 to March 21, 2027, in Nonsan. Designed to showcase the excellence of Nonsan strawberries to domestic and international visitors while highlighting the future and development potential of the strawberry industry, the event is expected to widely promote the competitiveness of Nonsan strawberries and related industries.

An official from the Committee stated, "As the Ganggyeong Jeotgal Festival is a representative regional event that attracts numerous tourists, we expect on-site promotions to effectively introduce the 2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo to a wide audience. We will continue leveraging major regional festivals and events to ensure the successful hosting of the expo."
