A wellness tourism program featuring sunset yoga at Buyeo Baekje Cultural Complex on October 3

As part of the Chungnam tourism campaign "Chungnam Travel Festa 2026," the Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation (acting CEO Lee Han-soo) will host the wellness tourism program "Chungnam Sunset Palace Yoga" on Saturday, October 3, at the Baekje Cultural Complex in Buyeo.

This evening participatory wellness program takes place against the backdrop of a magnificent sunset and serene night views at the Baekje Cultural Complex, one of the key hubs in the western inland region. In particular, it is scheduled to coincide with the "Baekje Cultural Festival," offering participants both the vibrant energy of the festival and the quaint ambiance of the historic palace.

The event shares the wellness values of the "UN International Day of Yoga" and is uniquely designed to combine yoga with traditional Chungnam cultural contents and local foods. Programs include ▲meditation, singing bowl, and gwansa (gua sha) therapy, ▲making Baekje lanterns and Baekje teacup coasters, ▲a gayageum (traditional zither) performance, and ▲a lotus leaf rice ball meal and tea ceremony (chadam).

Furthermore, the event will operate flexibly so that not only pre-registered participants from across the country, but also on-site visitors, can join the experience booths, allowing a wider audience to enjoy the program.

A total of 150 participants are currently being recruited through both advance and on-site registration. Detailed schedules and application methods can be found via the Naver Smart Store (https://naver.me/F7FeiTaM).

Choi Dong-seok, Head of the Tourism Business Division at the Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation, stated, "'Chungnam Sunset Palace Yoga' is an event designed to attract tourists from all over the country to Chungnam through our wellness tourism programs, leaving them with special memories." He added, "We hope this will be an opportunity for visitors to find peace of mind and discover the hidden charms of Chungnam amidst the serene landscape of the Baekje Cultural Complex."
